Q2. What appliances can I run with a 5 kW solar system?
With an average daily generation of 20–25 units, a 5 kW solar system is well-suited for larger homes, efficiently supporting multiple Fans, lights, air conditioners and coolers, along with essential appliances throughout the day.
Q3. Will this system work If the power is cut?
No. This is an on-grid solar system, so it automatically stops supplying power during a grid outage. This is a built-in safety feature that prevents electricity from flowing back into the grid while maintenance work is being carried out.
4. Can I install it to my shop and still get a subsidy?
Subsidy eligibility under DCR norms is generally applicable only to residential consumers. However, commercial installations can still benefit from long-term savings through reduced grid dependency, even without subsidy.
