Assistant Regional Sales Manager (ARSM) – Inverter, Battery & Solar Products

Job Summary
The Assistant Regional Sales Manager will support regional sales operations for inverter, battery, and solar energy products in the Pune region. The role focuses on driving channel sales, expanding dealer/distributor networks, increasing market share, and achieving revenue targets while supporting the Regional Sales Manager in executing business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Regional Sales Manager in executing sales strategies for inverter, battery, and solar products
Achieve assigned sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for the Pune region
Develop, manage, and expand dealer, distributor, and installer networks
Appoint new channel partners and ensure their onboarding and training
Drive secondary sales and ensure healthy stock rotation at dealer level
Promote solar solutions (rooftop, residential, commercial) and inverter-battery combinations
Conduct product demonstrations, dealer meets, and electrician/installer engagement programs
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends in the power backup and solar segment
Coordinate with service and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence reports
Ensure implementation of company schemes, promotions, and branding activities
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of inverter, battery, and solar product applications
Channel sales and distribution management expertise
Dealer and relationship management skills
Ability to train and motivate sales executives and channel partners
Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
Experience
4–7 years of experience in sales of inverter, battery, solar, UPS, or power electronics products
Minimum 1–2 years of team-handling or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of the Pune and nearby Maharashtra markets
